A New Jersey native, Krista began her professional career at the ripe old age of 12 after landing the role of Louisa in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of The Sound of Music. A month before graduating high school, Krista joined the first national tour of Spring Awakening as a swing and cover for the lead role of Wendla. After almost a year on the road, Krista moved to New York City to start pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre from Pace University. Most recently, Krista was seen in the world premiere production of Lazarus by Tony-winning playwright Enda Walsh with music by David Bowie, and can be heard on the Lazarus Original New York Cast album now available in stores/online (ISO/Columbia/RCA Records).
Krista is also currently writing the book for My Name is Annie King, a new musical with music and lyrics by Aaron Albert and Katy Rea.
